Sarulla Geothermal Power Plant is located beside Toba Lake which was a volcanic in history. The project site contains a lot of Tuff soil which is expansive when meeting water. Deep Cement Mixing method is used to improve the loose Tuff soil for stabilizing the whole backfill area.
